In 2016, The Kingwood OKTOBERFEST (TKO) debuted, earning prestigious recognition as one of the “Top Ten Events of Kingwood” by The Kingwood Observer. Fast forward to 2024, TKO will celebrate its 7th anniversary and will feature captivating performances by the Kingwood High School German Club dancers, who bring authentic cultural flair to the festivities. This year, the air will once again be filled with the lively tunes of the Texas Sound Check Band, delighting the crowd with their authentic German Polka. Attendees can also indulge in mouthwatering German cuisine, savoring every bite of the traditional fare, and local craft beer from DECA Beer Co. Our children’s area continues to grow with a trackless train, inflatables, rock wall, face painting and games, and activities for children of all ages to enjoy! We have also added a Vendor Marketplace for your shopping pleasure. See details below.

The Kingwood Oktoberfest Costume Contest 

We are excited about our 3rd Annual The Kingwood Oktoberfest costume contest for adults and children! Last year we had over a dozen entrants, this year we expect even more participation with prizes from generous sponsors such as The Cove Craft Beer & Wine.
